Tengjhih Forest Recreation Area（Closed）
Due to the collapse of the access road, the Tengzhi National Forest Recreation Area is currently closed.
Known as the Little Xitou of Southern Taiwan.
Regardless of weekdays or holidays, the park is limited to 500 visitors a day. Reservation is required to enter the park.
Tengzhi is about a 2-hour drive from Kaohsiung City. In the past, it was the settlement of the Bunun people. During the Japanese era, it was a Kyoto University Forests site; hence, rare Japanese cypress forestland rarely seen in Taiwan can be found here. Moreover, important roads such as the well-known Liugui Security Path and the Pasnanavan Historic Pass cut through this area, leaving numerous historical remains.
