Regardless of weekdays or holidays, the park is limited to 800 visitors a day. Reservation is required to enter the park.
Introduction
The Tengzhi National Forest Recreation Area is situated in the Baoshan Village of Taoyuan District, Kaohsiung City. It is a warm-temperate broad-leaved forest. The weather here is cloudy and foggy throughout the year with plenty of moisture. More than 1,700 plant species can be found here, accounting for more than 40% of Taiwan's plant species. The main tree species here are the laurel family, the oak and beech families, the rhododendron family and the tea family.
Tengzhi is about a 2-hour drive from Kaohsiung City. In the past, it was the settlement of the Bunun people. During the Japanese era, it was a Kyoto University Forests site; hence, rare Japanese cypress forestland rarely seen in Taiwan can be found here. Moreover, important roads such as the well-known Liugui Security Path and the Pasnanavan Historic Pass cut through this area, leaving numerous historical remains.

優待票：NT$60元(65歲以上持有證明文件者、3-6歲兒童、小學生非假日戶外教學)
