The water tower, built in the 1960s but which has long since stopped being used, has been transformed together with its transmission pipes into a massive, 38-meter-tall coloured ball which features seven colours. By night, it substitutes lights to create a remarkable scene.
The park has seven areas of scenic art, and the ground is paved with cambered surfaces. Rays of light link the glass mosaic shows a map of Kaohsiung City and a succession of dazzling images. The water tower's previous hard industrial venue has been replaced with a new artistic style.
