Introduction
The official name of the Temple of the 18 Kings is the Lingxing Hall. The vermilion Southern -style temple occupies a mountain top in Sihziwan in Kaohsiung, next to the British Consulate at Takao. Praying for a blessing at this temple never fails, so it has become ever more popular. Perched on a mountaintop, the Temple of the 18 Kings looks down on the ships entering the Strait of Taiwan, the vast, boundless sea and glittering lights of the city will make you forget your troubles.
