Meinong Lake
Located in Meinong, Jhongjheng (Zhongzheng) Lake was originally known as Zhongzun Pi or Minong Lake and covers an area of 21 hectares. It is Kaohsiung's second-largest artificial lake, second only to Chengcing Lake. The Mountain lies to the west, and the Lake is surrounded by fields on three sides, and has excellent scenery. Between October and March of the next year, large numbers of migratory birds come here to winter, making this an excellent place for bird-watching. A bike trail runs alongside the lake, and tourists love coming here to cycle, walk, or fish.
