Tourism MOU signed between Kaohsiung and Sapporo

The Tourism Bureau of Kaohsiung City and the Economy and Tourism Bureau of Sapporo City, Hokaido, Japan signed a memorandum of understanding on December 18, 2017 to increase exchange in the tourism industry between the two cities.
Also today, Taiwan’s Tiger Air launched the first direct flight between Kaohsiung and Fukuoka to boost tourist businesses.
Now, seven flights fly from Kaohsiung to Sapporo every week, making it easy to travel between the two cities. In fact, 81 flights fly from Kaohsiung to six cities in Japan - Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo, Okinawa and Kumamoto - weekly.
