Asia-Pacific tourism organization visits Kaohsiung

The Tourism Promotion Organization for Asia Pacific Cities visited the 2018 Kaohsiung International Travel Fair on April 23, 2018 and was especially impressed by the Siaogangshan Skywalk Park. Kaohsiung became a TPO member in 2012. Through the organization, each member city may exchange tourism industry information with others.
In total, representatives from nine South Korean cities joined this inspection tour. This shows that South Korea sees southern Taiwan as an important tourist market. The Kaohsiung City Government hopes the TPO members coming to the city this time can recommend Kaohsiung to both package tour attendants and independent travellers when they go back, since TPO is such a reciprocal international organization.
