In Feb. 2019, Kaohsiung will have renowned media celebrity Sissy Wen-chien Chen endorse for the city. On Jan. 23, a press conference was held, as attended by the mayor of Kaohsiung. The two discussed about the future for Kaohsiung’s tourism together.
Kaohsiung’s hotel occupancy rate has seen a significant year-on-year increase. The government expects the number of visitors to Kaohsiung to hit a record high again soon.
