To maintain the momentum of the Kaohsiung Fun Pass from the Korean tourism promotion event, Tourism Bureau Director Kao Min-Lin specially invited two Korean influencers, "Eunji" and "AliN," to visit Kaohsiung. They personally experienced and recommended the high value and convenience of Kaohsiung tourism, aiming to attract more Korean visitors to experience "Kaohsiung's high CP value."
Tourism Bureau Director Kao Min-Lin explained that according to the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' 2023 statistics, 89.7% of domestic travel by Taiwanese people is independent travel, while 88.17% of international visitors to Taiwan are independent travelers. Travelers start planning their trips to Taiwan an average of 28.49 days before departure, significantly shorter than the 51.71 days in 2019, gradually moving towards a more spontaneous travel mode. Therefore, the "Kaohsiung Fun Pass," which combines convenient transportation, discounted attractions, and local store offers, integrating "dining, sightseeing, shopping, and transportation" for smart tourism, is the top choice for independent travelers visiting Kaohsiung. The Tourism Bureau stated that as of the first half of this year, Korean visitors' overnight stays in Kaohsiung reached 77,000, an 81% increase from the same period last year, ranking third. According to the Tourism Administration's statistical analysis, online advertising and social media are important factors influencing international travelers' choice to visit Taiwan. Combined with the recent promotional activities in Korea, it was found that Korean travelers often follow KOL recommendations. For this reason, Kaohsiung specially invited Korean influencers "Eunji" and "AliN" to Taiwan to experience and recommend the "Kaohsiung Fun Pass."
