Introduction
Gangshan is renowned as a prime lamb-producing region. Before the restaurant was founded in 1955, the owner ran a business at the Old Gangshan Market, leading to the restaurant being named “Old Market Lamb” in Chinese (or “Joes” in English) after relocating to its current address. Today, the owner persists in purchasing and cutting lambs on-site every day. The restaurant's signature dishes include the nourishing Angelica herbal lamb hot pot and various lamb stir-fry dishes.
