Jiashian (Jiaxian) Bridge, situated on Southern Cross-Island Highway No. 20, spans Nanzihxian River, and is the entrance to Jiaxian District. It was opened in June 2010, playing the twin roles of transport and scenic spot; the bridgehead has a sculpture of a taro – Jiaxian's most famous product - and the bridge welcomes tourists with its light purple colour. When night falls, the beautiful triple arch bridge changes into Taiwan's largest LED bridge, which has over 20 colours, dancing above Nanzihxian River like a rainbow-coloured light show.
