The World games Station is the southernmost raised station on the Red Line. From the outside, it resembles a snow-white boat, sailing among the green waves of Banping Mountain on the wind, corresponding to Kaohsiung's image as an ocean port city. This station's theme is a hanging rainforest, and the art which can be seen here was created by two famous artists from the WJI group, using a unique method to produce records of insects and plants which currently exist in Taiwan, or those which have previously existed in Taiwan, encased within safety glass, recreating the appearance of the rainforest.
