The Butterfly Park is situated on the eastern side of the Jinshi (Golden Lion) Lake Scenic Park, and its outdoor flowers, plants, and ponds attract wild butterflies. Its two large exhibition halls occupy approx. 4462m2, and are filled with plants eaten by butterflies and nectar-producing plants. Murmuring streams flow past small bridges, allowing visitors to follow the wooden trail, which winds its way into a secret wonderland where butterflies dance, and also allows them to see pupae becoming butterflies up close.
