One the first day of the Children’s Day vacation, Shou San Zoo held a special event on American bison, with staffers explaining the necessary care for the animal. As side events, examinations on children’s general development in the form of adventure games, as well as an annual children’s outdoor painting contest, were held. The zoo also provided indigenous children’s toys and DIY classes for kids to explore. Shou San was filled with children on this day!
What’s more, the zoo invited members of the Pingtung County Indigenous Art Association to tell stories of wild boars and muntjacs. True Dairy (“Les Jour Milk”) and Chiyang Coffee also joined a sponsorship program in support of wildlife conservation.
