Introduction
Established in 2018, Hung Chi Rice Shop was selected as one of the top ten braised pork rice restaurants in Kaohsiung in 2020. It distinguishes itself by using specially selected Nianchang aromatic rice, renowned for its al-dente texture, delightful taste, and a subtle aroma of taro, from Yuli in Hualien. The rice is topped with braised minced pork, made from local odorless probiotic pork with a secret recipe passed down through generations. The braised minced pork, which appears oily but not greasy, is rich in collagen and carries the aroma of pork oil with a sweet flavor. Those who have tasted the braised pork rice have all praised it highly.
